Alex Pendlebury: Advancing Towards Chartered Accountancy at AWT Accountants

We’re thrilled to provide a brief update on the outstanding progress of Alex Pendlebury, who joined our team in April 2022. Alex is currently pursuing his Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accountancy (CA) and has achieved significant milestones along the way, such as:

• Risk Assessment and Technology in Business: An in-depth assessment of how Risk and Technology should be managed and accounted for within a business.

• Ethics in Business: This unit covered what the role of Accountants is within our own industry and the responsibilities we hold towards others.

• Financial Accounting and Reporting: This unit focused on the international standards companies are expected to adhere to when preparing their Financial Statements.

• Tax Law: With a focus on FBT and Franking Credits this unit covered the legislative requirements companies should be aware of during their operation and how these obligations can be managed to the benefit of the business.

Alex is on track to complete his CA journey by the end of 2024 and will undergo mentoring at AWT until mid-2025. We’re proud of his dedication to personal and professional growth, and we’re excited about the enhanced value he brings to our clients.
